The Connecticut Early Childhood Alliance will host a briefing for legislators and staff on the Care4Kids child care subsidy program on Thursday, February 16, at 10 a.m., in Room 310 of the Capitol. Child care costs can easily exceed the cost of in-state tuition. The Care4Kids program helps low-income families afford child care, but has been experiencing major disruptions, due to new costs associated with recent federal regulatory changes.
