Two letters were submitted to the Torrington Register Citizen by parents in Torrington (Torrington Child Care Center) regarding the cuts to children's services. The Alliance mounted a letter and phone campaign to coincide with the press conference on Dec. 14.

Radio actuality produced and submitted to radio stations all over the state of CT prior to the 12/14 press conference. More than 31 newsrooms took the mp3 feed, which equals more than 31 stations accepting, due to multiple stations under the same owner.

Susan Haigh, a reporter with the Hartford bureau of the Associated Press, covered the 12/14 press conference and her story was picked up by the New London Day.
