New Haven-based All Our Kin was promoted in a piece by CT Public News Service regarding its Family Child Care Tool Kit Licensing program, which has been found, for every $1 spent, to return $15-$20 to the greater New Haven economy. This piece was picked up by Clear Channel Radio stations throughout the country.

Alliance member All Our Kin, Inc., a New Haven-based nonprofit, recently released a report on the economic benefit its Family Child Care Licensing Tool Kit. CT NewsJunkie attended the report release event and filed this story.

In the Alliance's seventh story with CT Public News Service, the governor's jobs special session was the perfect opportunity to hone in on the importance of early childhood programs that help working parents continue to work. The story aired on October 26, the same day as the special session.

In its fifth story of the year, the Alliance turned to our partners at CAHS to help highlight the KidsCount Databook, which had just been released. While overall, the state score improved, the recession has still hit state children hard.
