Abstract:
FoxCT produced a special assignment on unlicensed child care in Connecticut. Sen. Beth Bye and CT Voices for Children's Cyd Oppenheimer were both involved in the piece, but integrated a bigger discussion on cost, child care subsidy (Care4Kids) availability and legislation passed last session (PA 11-181) to coordinate a system of early care and education. Also mentioned at the end of the story, but not part of the video, the work of All Our Kin, working to license family child care providers.
