Abstract:
How are children affected by the recession? According to a report by the Foundation for Child Development, the number of children living in poverty will climb to 15.6 million, an increase of more than 20 percent in just four years. Moreover, the number of homeless children will spike more than 50 percent above 2007 totals, to nearly half a million.
