After the New Haven Register wrote a story on the Care4Kids checks being cut to providers prior to June 30, Alliance Executive Director Ann Pratt penned a letter to explain why those funds were spent and needed to be spent. The original article that ran on June 16 did not specify the reasons. The letter was submitted to the NHR on June 18 and ran on June 29.
