Pre-K Funding is Investment in Future

Senator Charlotte Burks of Tennessee urges her fellow legislators to continue funding the state's nationally recognized pre-Kindergarten program. With a 700% return on investment, the backing of police chiefs, chambers of commerce, businesses and the state branch of the American Academy of Pediatricians supporting pre-K, the senator sees no reason not to continue to fund pre-K beyond the next school year.
