UPDATE: The Census-related CT Early Childhood Alliance meeting will take place at AFSCME in New Britain on Wednesday, February 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The CT Early Childhood Alliance is hosting a Census Solutions Workshop, a creative and collaborative workshop to foster new partnerships and solve census challenges in your community, most importantly, the undercount of young children.

Our meeting focus will be on the upcoming U.S. Census, now approximately 40 days from starting. We encourage you to bring people from your community who you think should be involved in making sure all kids are counted in the 2020 Census. In 2010, 1 in 10 children under the age of 5 went uncounted nationally. We don't want that to happen again.

Space will be limited by the size of the room, so we ask that you RSVP for you and anyone you plan to bring with you.

Please bring your laptop or tablet if you have one, in order to follow along with the ROAM Interactive Mapping Tool.

The Alliance Steering Committee will meet immediately following the regular meeting.
